Spain show off Nations League victory
The Spanish national team has already qualified for the European Championship in Germany, which will take place this summer, but Luis de la Fuente's team, as well as having managed to get through their group for the next big continental tournament, are also current champions of the UEFA Nations League, something that has earned them the right to wear a patch recognising the team’s success. As current winners of the tournament, the team will wear the new patch to show off their success in these last two matches of the year 2023.
The Cyprus-Spain match will be the first match where we will wear the distinction Nations League champions patch, a title won on penalties after beating Italy 4-5.
Álvaro Morata, one of the captains of the Spanish national team, was the first to don the new patch, a patch that will accompany us in the coming matches and that we will also be able to wear at Euro 2024, an event for which we have already secured our place.
