With their last encounter the final of the 2021 UEFA Nations League, Spain and France face each other again this Tuesday in Munich for a place in the match that will decide who lifts the European Championships trophy.

Rodrigo Hernández, who started in the previous match against the French, predicts "a very tough battle, but one where we will have our chances. We are going to be united, competitive, and brave. We will go in with our weapons and believe we can achieve it."

Goalkeeper Unai Simón, who was also a key player three years ago against Les Bleus, recalls, "what Luis de la Fuente told us before extra time against Germany: we have to be ourselves, the Spain we have been throughout these Euros. We make a great team and know how difficult France will be. We will enjoy a great match and I hope we make it happen."

Defender Dani Carvajal, who will miss the match due to suspension, expects "a very tough match between two teams that are coming out of playing extra time and will be going into the Euros semi-final with their tanks half empty. Our style is clear, and we must be strong in both areas. The key will be in the details and having that touch of luck," claims the Spanish international who will support his teammates from the sidelines in Munich this Tuesday.
