Spain take off on their way to Belgrade

Spain take on Serbia in their UEFA Nations League opener on Friday.

At four o'clock in the afternoon (Spanish peninsular time) on Wednesday 4 September, the Iberia plane carrying the Spanish team took off from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport headed for the Serbian capital.

The Spanish national team players and coaching staff have a flight of just over three hours to Belgrade, where the team is scheduled to land shortly after seven in the evening.

After completing their official final training at the Ciudad del Fútbol ahead of Spain's first match in the latest edition of the UEFA Nations League, coach Luis de la Fuente and international player Dani Carvajal are scheduled to hold a press conference on Wednesday evening at the Rajko Mitic stadium, the venue for the clash against the Balkan side.
