Spain to find out Women's European Championships qualifying opponents this Tuesday

The national team will face three of the best teams from across Europe as they compete for one of two direct qualification places for the finals.

On Tuesday 5 March at 13:00 (Spanish peninsular time), the Swiss city of Nyon will host the draw for the qualifying round for the Women's European Championship, which Switzerland will host between 2 and 27 July next year. The draw can be followed via the official RFEF media (rfef.es website and #sefutbolfem channels on X and Facebook).

51 national teams, including Spain, will find out their opponents on their route to the summer finals in 2025. The reigning world champions and recent winners of the UEFA Women's Nations League title will discover which battles they face in the build up to the finals, for which only the best 16 best national teams will qualify.

The national team, reigning world and Nations League champions, will be seeded in Pot 1 of League A, sharing the privilege of being a top seed with the best European nations according to UEFA rankings after the Women's Nations League.

Thus, the team coached by Montse Tomé will be placed in one of the four groups in League A alongside three opponents from other pots:
