Spain to host Andorra in Badajoz on 5 June

The friendly game will serve as a warm-up match for the European Championships starting ten days later.

The Nuevo Vivero stadium in the Badajoz will welcome the national team for the fourth time in their history on Wednesday 5 June in a friendly Euro 2024 warm-up match against the national team of Andorra.

Luis de la Fuente and his players will thus have an interesting test as part of their preparations for the European Championships in Germany, which is scheduled to start the week after the match in Badajoz.

The event is also a reason for tribute and recognition to the Extremadura Football Federation, which in 2024 celebrates one hundred years since its foundation.

Spain, who play Colombia in London and Brazil in Madrid this March, will face the Andorran team for the second time in its history and will do so exactly twenty years after the first match on 5 June 2004 in Getafe, when the national team won by four goals to nil.

Ten days after the match at the Nuevo Vivero, Spain will start its Euro 2024 campaign against Croatia at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
