Spain to play Denmark, Belgium and the Czech Republic in European Championships qualifying
The make up of the next challenge facing the Spanish national team was confirmed on Tuesday with the draw for the qualifying phase for next year's UEFA Women's EUROS, which Switzerland will host.
Spain have been drawn against Denmark, Belgium and the Czech Republic in group A2 for the qualifiers to be played between April and July.
There will be a total of six matches and the national team will have to finish first or second in their group to seal their ticket to the finals.
In the event of finishing third or fourth in the group, Spain would have to seek qualification via the play-offs, to be played between October and December this year.
The groups in League A, of which the Spain national team is a member as reigning Nations League champions, have been drawn as follows:
