This crucial victory on Thursday against Scotland in Seville significantly paves the way for Spain towards the final phase of the Eurocopa.
The team led by Luis de la Fuente already controls their destiny to finish first in the group and will secure their ticket to the final phase in Germany if they defeat Norway next Sunday in Oslo.
In the other match of the group played this matchday, Norway triumphed 0-4 against Cyprus with goals from Sorloth, Aursnes, and Haaland twice.
