She can't take a step in this city without a fan asking for an autograph or a selfie. Tere Abelleira has returned home to try to help Spain qualify for the semi-finals of the first-ever UEFA Women's Nations League today. The player from Pontevedra is one of the main attractions of the match in Pontevedra against Italy.

The player tells us how much it means to return home knowing that in the stands she will find a host of "friendly faces", as none of her family members, friends or former coaches have wanted to miss out on seeing her play. She also tells us about her time playing futsal. It was only seven years ago that she was still combining it with football, playing for the Spanish under-17 National Team, which was coached by Clàudia Pons at the time. Yet only seven years later she is a world champion on the grass pitch.

Her secret and her advice for girls and boys who want to follow in her footsteps? "Enjoy, learn and dream big, because when you work and pursue your dreams, they come true."
