The champions first training session of at the Nuevo Arcángel

The star of the world champions proudly made its debut with a day of firsts. This Monday afternoon, the Spanish national team completed their first training session at the Nuevo Arcángel Municipal Stadium in Córdoba after winning the World Cup. Because the field, yes, is familiar to the team (just last year, on October 7, they had a match against Sweden that ended in a hard-fought draw); but this was the first time they wore the cherished star on their shirts.

And that star was accompanied by another one: the Sun. Because one of the highlights of the day in Córdoba was the heat, making the city mark the country's maximum temperature on this September 25th. Temperatures reached up to 34 degrees during the central hours; however, at the start of the training at 6:30 PM in the evening, the thermometers were a bit lower.

The turf looks in good condition, and the Nuevo Arcángel is already adorned in the red of our national team. The training was completed on the eve of the match that will pit Montse Tomé's team against Switzerland. Everything is ready and with a very clear objective: to continue with the formidable sensations left in the team and the fans by the match against Sweden in Gothenburg.
