The champions land in Spain eager to continue the celebration

The Women's National Team has arrived at Adolfo Suárez - Madrid Barajas at 9:15 PM and is heading towards Explanada Puente del Rey in Madrid Río

After a long flight from the opposite side of the world, and with a desire to continue celebrating this great achievement, the plane carrying the Women's National Football Team landed in Madrid shortly after 9:15 PM. On board, a world trophy, a new star on the crest, and eagerness to keep enjoying the dream that became a reality at Stadium Australia.

By AENA's initiative, the players were greeted on the tarmac with a luminous path and the illumination of the control tower at Terminal 4 and the façade of Terminal 2, as a congratulation for their achievement.

From there, and after being transported on an open-top bus, the team passes through Puerta de Alcalá, Cibeles, Gran Vía, and Plaza de España before arriving at Explanada Puente del Rey (Explanada of the Spanish National Football Team) in the Madrid Río area. While the players made their way over there various artists were entertaining the crowds of people.
