The CTA launches a campaign to encourage enrollment in refereeing
The campaign, featuring a specific commercial and a website for registration, is collaborating with UEFA and various regional and territorial federations.
The Technical Committee of Referees of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, in coordination with UEFA and the refereeing committees of all territorial federations, is launching the campaign 'Where the foundations are laid.'
The goal of this initiative is to recruit new referees, both male and female, to join the more than 17,000 referees already present throughout Spain. The first step must be taken within the different territorial federations, which are responsible for organizing and conducting introductory courses into the world of refereeing. This training involves maintaining good physical condition as well as thorough learning of the Rules of the Game.
