The fight against breast cancer adorns the facade of the RFEF

On International Breast Cancer Day, a giant Spanish national team shirt with the slogan "Our skin is red, our heart is pink" is displayed to raise awareness for this cause.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation wanted to make the fight against breast cancer visible this year by covering the facade of the Ciudad del Fútbol with a giant Spanish national team shirt that shares the official colors with pink, the symbol of this cause.

Since yesterday afternoon, a giant banner with this image and the slogan "Our skin is red, our heart is pink" has been displayed.

The Federation aims to strengthen its commitment to social responsibility through this initiative, which also promotes sustainability, as the banner will be recycled to create backpacks and other items for a second use.

In addition, on this day, the profile images of the different social media platforms of the RFEF and the Spanish National Football Team will "turn pink" for nearly 24 hours.

Breast cancer represents 30 percent of all diagnosed cases in women and is the most common. According to the Spanish Association Against Cancer, there are 34,740 new cases reported annually.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation collaborates with this organization to promote research and early diagnosis through visibility. This action adds to those carried out in previous years, where national teams and football professionals have played a significant role.
