The fight against sexual slavery will take centre stage at the Spanish national team match to be played next Tuesday in Cordoba. The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) wanted to make this harsh reality for some many people more visible by dedicating its Executive Box 0 for social causes to the victims of trafficking.

As such, looking for the maximise the social loudspeaker that football offers, women who have been deceived, prostituted, mistreated and kidnapped until they were rescued from this brutal form of slavery, will also be the stars of the match between the Spanish national team and Serbia.

A total of 20 women will raise their voices to make known the sexual slavery that exists in our society from which they have suffered. They have managed to escape from this nightmare with the help of associations that challenge human traffickers and a particularly complex and criminal environment.

The heads of these organisations that fight against trafficking will be alongside the rescued women. This is the case of APRAMP, an association that everyday to the places where these victims are forced into prostitution against their will and, coordinating with the security forces, manages to free them and offer them a new life. Also that of Cruz Blanca, which works with these women, supporting them through this transition.

Many of these victims, once they have regained their freedom, become rescuers of sex slaves in turn, confronting a terrible past in order to help thousands of anonymous women who they help get their life back. The RFEF has a clear commitment to social responsibility, aware of the power of football to change things and move society forward. In this way, it promotes actions of this type through its Department of Equality, Social Responsibility and Sustainability.
