The fourth cup is here!

The Spanish national team landed at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport after 15:00 in the afternoon, aboard the Iberia Airbus A321, christened "Delta del Llobregat", which brought them from Berlin. Packed in their luggage is a trophy, that of the European Championships, which makes them the only national team with four of these titles in their trophy cabinet.

It is the culmination of a dream that began 45 days ago and which has led Luis De la Fuente's team to earn a place in history and also in the hearts of the whole of Spain. On the stairs leading down from the plane, the team and coaching staff were accompanied by the president of the RFEF, Pedro Rocha, who travelled on the same flight from Berlin. A flight (2813, with registration EC JLY) characterised by the same good atmosphere that has reigned throughout the squad’s time together, and which has undoubtedly been one of the key pillars of the team's success.

This Monday afternoon, the team will make the well-known institutional visits (18:30 at the Zarzuela Palace and 19:30 at the Moncloa Palace), before heading by open-top bus to the party organised next to the Palacio de Comunicaciones, Cibeles. Both during the bus trip and at the party, a large number of fans are expected to attend, with whom the team will share their joy at the victory.
