The King of all Cups returns

Six months have passed since Athletic Club lifted their 24th Copa del Rey trophy at La Cartuja. After a long wait, this Wednesday 9 October, the tournament of the KO returns.

20 clubs from the regional categories will go head to head in 10 exciting duels in order to put themselves in the pot and claim one of the coveted places in the first knockout round of the knockout competition.

This round of matches in the most inclusive tournament in Spanish football will kick off at 17:30, with San Tirso SD and Selaya FC as the protagonists, before serving up most epic clashes during the rest of the evening and having as closing act, at 21:00, the duel between Chiclana CF and Melilla CD.

The draw for the first qualifying round will be held on Thursday 10 October at 13:00.

The race for the dream of being among the 110 teams to compete in single match knockout duals until the semi-final round is on. All the clubs will have the month of April marked in red with the aim of advancing knockout round after knockout round after knockout round with the objective of sitting on the throne currently occupied by Athletic Club.
