The king of extra time is looking for their first title

CA Osasuna will play tomorrow's final against Real Madrid after overcoming the last four knockout rounds beyond regulation time.

In a unique case in the 120-year history of the tournament, CA Osasuna will play tomorrow at the La Cartuja stadium in Seville after a dizzying rally of six knockout rounds, the last four of them in extra time or penalty shootout.

A Pablo Ibáñez goal in extra time on April 4 helped Jagoba Arrasate's men eliminate Athletic Club at San Mamés, just over a month after beating Sevilla FC with a goal from Abde in extra time at El Sadar.

Previously, the "rojillos" had managed to extend the duel against Real Betis at the Benito Villamarín with a goal in the added time before being better in the penalty shootout.

CD Fuentes, CD Arnedo and Gimnàstic de Tarragona, also winning in extra time, were the first teams defeated by this historic CA Osasuna, which eighteen years after its, so far, only final, can finally add the Copa del Rey to the centenary Navarre club's trophy cabinet.
