The national team equals its scoring record in a final phase
104 years of history of the Spanish national team this August, only once before in its centenary history had it achieved a goalscoring record of these heights.
The team coached by Luis de la Fuente equalled their scoring record at a major international tournament on Tuesday against France .
With the two goals scored in the first half against the Gauls, Spain now have thirteen goals in the six matches played so far on German soil, the same as in the previous edition, when penalties against Italy halted the national team's progress to the final.
