The delegation, led by President Luis Rubiales, landed in Madrid shortly after 11:30 a.m. after a flight from Rotterdam, where they conquered the UEFA Nations League by defeating Croatia in a penalty shootout. It is a new trophy for the showcases of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, an achievement for the national team eleven years after their last triumph.

During the journey, the players and coaching staff have not stopped reminiscing about the great moments of the final against Croatia, celebrating as the occasion deserves. With this UEFA Nations League victory, Spain becomes the powerhouse with the most prestigious titles in Europe.

As soon as the team landed, the bus took them to the Palacio de la Zarzuela. There, the members of the official delegation will be received by King Felipe VI.
