The national team lands in Oslo aiming to seal its ticket to the European Championships

Spain will play Norway at the Ullevaal Stadium on Sunday.

At around nine o'clock in the evening (Spanish peninsular time) on Friday 13 October, the Iberia flight carrying the national team landed at Oslo-Gardemoen airport after a four-hour flight from Seville.

The 22 player squad and the coaching staff will remain in the Nordic capital until next Sunday, the date of the decisive qualifier against Norway in which a victory would seal Spain's ticket to the finals of the next European Championship.

 

Head coach Luis de la Fuente and international goalkeeper Unai Simón will hold a press conference this Saturday before the team 's official training session at Ullevaal Stadium.

Sunday's game will be the tenth match between the Norwegian and Spanish national teams, with Spain getting the better of their historical head to head, with six wins, two draws and one defeat against the Norwegians.
