The National Team lands in Palmerston North, where they will establish their base camp during the World Cup.
At six o'clock in the evening this Saturday (eight in the morning Spanish peninsular time), the National Team landed at Palmerston North Airport, a city located about five hundred kilometers south of Auckland.
This town in the North Island of New Zealand and the capital of the Manawatu-Wanganui region will be where Spain sets up its base camp during the Women's World Cup, conducting its training sessions at the facilities of Massey University.

The players and coaching staff have made a comfortable journey of just over an hour by flight with little traffic in New Zealand, due to the national celebration of Matariki or Maori New Year, a public holiday throughout the country.
After defeating Vietnam on Friday in the final training match before the World Cup debut and training on Saturday morning in Papakura, the 23 selected players will resume their training on Sunday in Palmy, as the town where Spain is currently concentrated is popularly known, in preparation for the opening match on Friday, July 21 against Costa Rica.
