The national team touch down in the Balkans

Spain face Serbia in their UEFA Nations League opener on Friday.

At just after 7p.m. (Spanish peninsular time) on Wednesday 4 September, the Iberia flight carrying the Spanish travelling party landed at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport after a flight of just over three hours from Madrid.

The players and coaching staff of the Spanish national team are already in the Balkan capital, where they then settled in at the team hotel where they will be based until Friday.

After completing their final training session at the Ciudad del Fútbol ahead of Spain's opener in the latest edition of the UEFA Nations League, coach Luis de la Fuente and international player Dani Carvajal were then scheduled to hold a press conference on Wednesday evening at the Rajko Mitic stadium, the venue for the clash against the Balkan side.
