Three wins in three games with sixteen goals scored and none conceded. Those are the impressive Spanish national team stats when playing at the Nuevo Vivero stadium, where Spain return this Wednesday after almost three years since their last visit.

The warm-up match against Andorra will also serve to commemorate a centenary of the Extremadura Football Federation, founded on 24 September 1904.

With a capacity for 15,000 spectators, the Nuevo Vivero stadium in Badajoz was inaugurated on 2 December 1998 and this Wednesday it will once again be full to welcome the national team.

For the moment, the colours of the country’s favourite team are already on display in the Badajoz coliseum, and the whole city is waiting for the fans to pour their hearts and souls into this crucially important match ahead of the imminent European Championships in Germany.
