A day of recognition for the 23 players representing Spain during the IX FIFA Women's World Cup.
At the hands of the RFEF President, Luis Rubiales, the footballers received commemorative badges from the institution on Wednesday in the city of Wellington, made of gold with the date of their debut engraved on the back.
The ceremony took place after the evening training session conducted by the national team, who are preparing for the round of 16 in the World Cup.
Spain will continue training in the New Zealand capital until next Friday, the date of their trip to Auckland, where the team will attempt to make history against Switzerland, reaching the quarter-finals of the World Cup for the first time in its history.
