After three days in Stuttgart, and under a rainy sky, the Spain squad arrived this Saturday at midday in the Bavarian capital, Munich, where they will battle it out for the UEFA Nations League title against Portugal.

The players were able to enjoy the unconditional support of the Spanish fans at the entrance of the team hotel

In southern Germany, the host city — the country’s third largest — holds fond memories for the national team, as it was at the Allianz Arena, home of Bayern Munich, where qualification for the European championships final was secured 333 days ago.

In the stadium that will host the ‘Iberian derby’ this Sunday, Luis de la Fuente and Mikel Oyarzabal are scheduled to speak to the media at 17:45. Afterwards, the team will head to the FC Bayern Munich Campus to fine-tune their final details on the practice pitch (19:45) in what will be the final training session before Swiss referee Sandro Schärer blows the starting whistle in the final.
