The Regional National Championships push for inclusion and diversity under the slogan; #FootbALL.
The competitions were played over the weekend of 14 and 15 December at different venues throughout Spain.
A total of 48 teams took part in Andalusia, Cantabria, Galicia, Navarra and the Region of Murcia in the women's category. In addition, the men's matches in the regions of Castellón and Barcelona, where matches had been postponed due to the effects of the floods, were rescheduled.
As was the case with the men's Regional tournament at the end of October, the Spanish Championships in the U-14 and U-16 women's categories, which were held over the weekend of 14 and 15 December, had respect, diversity and inclusion as a common flag to wave and cause to push.
Thanks to the programme launched by the Royal Spanish Football Federation in collaboration with UEFA. The feeling of #FootbALL was felt at all the matches in the Championships. The captains of all participating teams wore their green armbands with the UEFA programme slogan, and the teams also posed for the official match photograph with a banner with the same slogan.
Through the #FootbALL message, football is putting its power to improve people's lives at the disposal of society. Sport, open to everyone without distinction, is the way to share the values of respect, diversity and equality.
This weekend, in addition, the matches that were postponed due to the meteorological catastrophe suffered by the communities of Valencia and Castilla-La Mancha were played. The U-14 and U-16 Autonomous Men's National Team Championships were held in Castellón and Barcelona, also with inclusion and diversity in mind, and always with those affected by the storms.
