The RFEF appoints Santi Denia coach of the sub-21

The Royal Spanish Football Federation has announced changes in the organization chart of the lower categories to continue growing with the objectives set.

In this way, Santi Denia will now be the U-21 coach, occupying precisely the position that Luis de la Fuente has developed so well to date. Denia, a coach who has a lot of knowledge on the basis of national football, will also participate in some concentration of other categories when considered.

José Lana will now be the U-19 coach and will remain in charge of the U-16 and U-15 teams. For his part, Julen Guerrero continues as coach of the sub-17 and will join concentrations of other categories when deemed appropriate. They are all experienced and quality coahes, and the RFEF has valued their qualities to face this restructuring with a new management model in the sports field.

The lower categories of the National Team will have Vicente Engonga as assistant coach. Carlos Rivera will work as a physical trainer; and Antonio Gómez Díaz joins the project, also as a physical trainer. Juan Carlos Arévalo will carry out the functions of goalkeeping coach and Héctor Rincón and Alberto de la Fuente will form the analyst team.

Francis Hernández will continue as coordinator of the lower categories of the national team, who will also have a leading role in the senior team since he will be Albert Luque's deputy. As Francis' assistant, Vicente Blanco 'Tito' will work, contributing his extensive experience to the inferiors of the National Team.
