The RFEF dispenses with the services of the Secretary-General, Andreu Camps
The Federation will not appoint a new Secretary-General, and the functions will be temporarily assumed by Elvira Andrés and Alfredo Olivares until the completion of the electoral process.
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has dispensed with the services of the Secretary-General, Andreu Camps.
From this moment on, and during this transition period until the end of the electoral process, his functions will be assumed by the Director of the President's Cabinet, Elvira Andrés, in the representative capacity as the secretary of the governing and representative bodies of the Federation. Likewise, the executive functions will be taken on by Alfredo Olivares, the current Director of Competitions.
This decision has been made in accordance with Article 39.2 of the RFEF Statutes, which states:
"The appointment of the Secretary-General shall be at the discretion of the President of the RFEF who, if he does not make such appointment, shall be responsible for the functions of the Secretary-General, being able to delegate to whomever he deems appropriate."
