The Royal Spanish Football Federation, in collaboration with the UEFA Foundation for Children, has presented 'Equipazo', an ambitious social project that places football at the service of social transformation and overcoming barriers. The initiative seeks to improve the quality of life of the most disadvantaged children, promoting equality, integration, diversity and healthy habits through sports.

The project is born with a clear vocation for national and social impact, relying on clubs, NGOs, foundations and associations that work with at-risk groups. Among its main objectives are the promotion of sports practice, the improvement of health and education, the prevention of violence and the promotion of social inclusion. With this type of social initiative developed under the slogan “Salir a Ganar” (“Go Out to Win”), the RFEF strengthens its commitment to overcoming barriers, especially those that children may encounter during childhood.

Encouraging sporting activity, equality, celebrating diversity and fostering social integration are some of the key objectives of a project that begins in collaboration with one of the RFEF's partners in this endeavour, Club Dragones de Lavapiés, where young footballers of very young ages and from over 60 different ethnic backgrounds coexist. A club dedicated to building strong communities and celebrating diversity through football.

To support the project, the RFEF will make available to its various partners its facilities, logistical support, training, professionals and visibility to achieve the set goals, shared by multiple social groups such as refugees, homeless people, people with disabilities or vulnerable children, etc.
