The RFEF makes its debut at the Sports Summit Madrid 2025

The Royal Spanish Football Federation will be present for the first time at this Congress, which connects sport and industry, with the aim of bringing Spanish football closer to other areas of the sporting ecosystem. It will be held at IFEMA (Madrid) on 18 and 19 June.

Spanish football and the Royal Spanish Football Federation want to be wherever innovation, technology, industry and sport come together, as such, the RFEF will actively participate in the 2025 edition of the Sport Summit Madrid.

The SSM25 will take place in Hall 6 of IFEMA, with the RFEF stand located in position D8.

Sport Summit Madrid is the meeting point of supply and demand in the market, where brands, experts, professionals, investors and entrepreneurs will share knowledge and stay up to date with cutting-edge innovations in and around the sports industry, in a forward-looking event that promises to mark a turning point in the development of sport as an industry.

Throughout these two days, the RFEF space at the SSM25 will take centre stage with the exhibition of trophies won by the various Football and Futsal National Teams. It will also feature the presence of professionals from the various departments of the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

Main event at the RFEF stand on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.

This Wednesday, 19 June, at 11:00 a.m., the main event will take place at the RFEF stand at the SSM25 (D8). For the first time, all four World Cups will be displayed together outside the RFEF’s area and will be there by four notable individuals who led us to the top of world football and futsal: Vicente del Bosque, Ivana Andrés, Julio García Mera and Javier Lozano.

In addition to the World Cups, the European Championships trophy and the two Olympic gold medals won in Barcelona 1992 and Paris 2024 will also be on display throughout both days.

Federal Football in Spain: From the grassroots to the very top

On Thursday, 19 June, starting at 11:00 a.m. on the Auditorium Stage of the SSM25, there will be a round table under the title ‘Federal Football in Spain: From the grassroots to the very top, vision and strategies for the future’ in which the RFEF Vice President and President of the Royal Madrid Football Federation, Paco Díez, and the RFEF Deputy Secretary, Óscar Callejo, will participate.

In addition, RFEF professionals will participate in various round tables and talks that will address topics linking all stakeholders in the sports ecosystems with its associated industries: innovation and technology, health and wellbeing, sustainability, education and culture, media and audiovisual, institutional relations, tourism, sports law, etc.

Gloria Awards

Among the events surrounding this SSM25 will be the presentation of the Gloria Awards for Ibero-American Sport, created to celebrate excellence, values, and the social impact of sport in the Ibero-American sphere. The first edition of the awards gala will be held on 18 June at 8:30 p.m. at the Albéniz Theatre in Madrid.

At this first gala, the Spanish women’s national team, world champions in 2023, and the Spanish men’s national team, world and European champions, will receive the GLORIA Award for teamwork.
