Born in Barcelona, Ramón Plaza, 48 years old, holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies and a Master's Degree in Management and Direction of Sports Entities. Plaza's professional career has been based on a strong link to the world of sport. He worked in the Marketing Department of the Johan Cruyff University before joining the Adecco Group as Director of Key Accounts. Before making the leap to Real Madrid CF, where he worked for 12 years as Sales Manager of the Vip Hospitality Area.

With his incorporation, one of the strategic areas of the Royal Spanish Football Federation has been refreshed and strengthened to create the Commercial and Business Development Department, in what is a new stage in which the RFEF wants to continue working itself to open up to society and present Spanish football to new channels of commercial relations. Always with the aim of encouraging more companies to join the Spanish national football team setup, the Copa del Rey and the Copa de la Reina, etc...: "We are going to be an even more active part of the football business, having a greater presence in forums, professional meetings and international events etc... The objective must be to make all the assets that form part of the Royal Spanish Football Federation better known. In this new stage we are going to go out into the street to be closer to our clients and to make society aware of our values and the positive dynamics that go hand in hand with football".

With the start of the 2024/2025 football season, and after a summer of sporting success for our national teams, the Royal Spanish Football Federation continues to work to offer the power of sport to society through the best team of professionals in all areas and sectors in which it operates.
