The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has divided the Communication Department, until the end of the electoral process, into two areas: on one hand, the one related to institutional communication, which will be handled by the current Director of Social Responsibility and Sustainability, Marisa González; and on the other hand, sports communication, which will be under the purview of the current Deputy Director of Communication, Enrique Yunta.

Likewise, the Federation has sought to strengthen the Social Department in this new phase, giving absolute priority to equality in football. The commitment made by the president of the interim committee, Pedro Rocha, is to advance and develop supportive policies that enable real equality in this sport.

Therefore, the RFEF has elevated the various equality-related actions that have been taking place within the federative entity, such as the observatory and the committee in this area, to the status of an Department. Thus, an Equality Department is now established, which will complement the social responsibility and sustainability policies in the new Directorate of Equality, Social Responsibility, and Sustainability. Marisa González will head the department, and it will also include Nuria Bravo, SES (Social and Environmental Sustainability) Manager RFEF for UEFA.
