The RFEF's commitment to helping society takes many forms of collaboration, as demonstrated throughout 2024. Through the Department of Equality, Social Responsibility, and Sustainability, Spanish football has supported various charitable causes, always with the aim of improving people's quality of life and supporting the work of organisations across Spain.

Through sports equipment donations, the RFEF has supported charity events that have raised funds for various purposes, using the star power of the Spanish national football teams and the donated equipment. In many cases, the initiatives have focused on children with various illnesses.

Examples include the children’s programme “Sonrisas de cartón”, in collaboration with the AECC in the municipality of Arcos de la Llana, Burgos; the charity raffle organised by Zuazo Football Club in Barakaldo for ASPANOVAS, an association supporting families with children who have cancer in Biscay; the support given to Torredonjimenez School in Jaén for a similar cause; and the charity event held in Villena by Salesianos Sports Club in aid of Zoe, a girl with Worren syndrome.

Supporting organisations researching various diseases has also been a key goal of the RFEF's donations, which have included sports equipment for the Retina Madrid Association, the ASTUCE organisation via Rollán Basketball Club in Salamanca, AYAC (Yecla Association for Cancer Patients), and the AMFE Award, an arts competition aimed at training people with disabilities.

Individuals with limited resources, both in Spain and abroad, as well as groups in need of social assistance, have also benefited from the RFEF's donations of sports equipment. Football has reached Belgium through the Make-a-Wish Association and Urgent Aid to Africa. Furthermore, 160 Spanish kits were sent to Mozambique, specifically to the Maputo area, and to Senegal via the Pepe Canalis Campus in M'Bour.

Additionally, the RFEF has supported organisations such as the Académie de Mayotte, a project that has promoted the learning of Spanish in the business sector for students with limited resources, enabling them to quickly immerse themselves in Spanish-speaking culture. Through the Peace Through Sport initiative, 900 kits were donated to people arriving in the Canary Islands by boat, to be used as clothing.

In Madrid, the RFEF donated 12 pallets of sportswear, including shirts, kits, warm clothing, trainers, and backpacks, to the José María Llanos Foundation. This foundation works in the Madrid neighbourhoods of Vallecas, Entrevías, and El Pozo, providing opportunities for education and social and labour inclusion for local youth. Additionally, the Dragones de Lavapiés Club will wear the Spanish kits in the Unity Cup, an event celebrating cultural diversity through sport.

With these and many other causes, Spanish football is at the service of society, grateful for the work of so many people and organisations across Spain and in many parts of the world in promoting just causes, always with the aim of offering a better life for everyone in society.
