The RFEF, the CSD and the players launch the Mixed Commission

It is based on the agreements reached at the Oliva meeting last September.

Pitch A of the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas played host to the signing the Mixed Commission Charter based on the agreements previously adopted at the meeting in Oliva last September. The Real Federación Española de Fútbol, Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD) and the national team’s players thus attended the signing of a general charter stating a protocol of actions that should serve to initiate a new prosperous and productive period.

Pedro Rocha, president of the RFEF Management Committee, wanted to highlight the importance of the event: "It is a very important day for all of us. This team’s voices have been heard and we are trying to solve everything. The Federation's doors are open to any problem".

Rocha also highlighted the role of the players. "The World Cup victory was not celebrated in the way it should have been. The players have had to pull through some very complicated moments and we at the RFEF are enormously proud of what these players have done".

Finally, the president of the Management Committee had a word for Jennifer Hermoso, who was present with the rest of her teammates on the pitch on Pitch A. "She has suffered and has the support of all of us all for whatever she needs. The RFEF has a different way of seeing things. We have to build bridges, open up the Federation and work with a lot of stability because we have gone through very difficult times".

"The government is acting as a mediator" in the dialogue.

The president of the CSD, Víctor Francos, stressed the importance of this agreement, which is the result of "dialogue" and which marks the "beginning of an agreement", in which "the Government acts as mediator".

In this sense, the president of the CSD advocated the different parties continuing to work together. "This path must be one of dialogue and change. I would like to thank all the people who have been involved in drawing up this document, but especially the players for their attitude and commitment. This is one of my happiest days as president of the CSD, comparable to the day you won the World Cup," he said.

On behalf of the players, the three captains of the national team signed the charter: Irene Paredes, Alexia Putellas and Olga Carmona.

After the ceremony, the parties involved met at the Ciudad del Fútbol residence to continue progressing in the development of the objectives set.

The event was attended by the internationals called up by Montse Tomé for the national team's next two UEFA Nations League group matches. Spain, group leaders with two wins, will play away against Italy and Switzerlandon this Friday and next Tuesday 31 October respectively.
