The Spanish Football Federation resumes meetings with cities vying to host the World Cup

The president of the interim committee, Pedro Rocha, held a meeting this Tuesday with the president of Aragón and the mayor of Zaragoza, as part of a series of meetings with the different bids to host the event in Spain.

The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has resumed meetings with the cities aspiring to host the 2030 World Cup, following FIFA's announcement of selecting the joint bid from Spain, Portugal, and Morocco for this major event.

In this regard, the president of the RFEF's interim committee, Pedro Rocha, held a working meeting this Tuesday with the president of Aragón, Jorge Azcón, as well as with the mayor of Zaragoza, Natalia Chueca, as part of the various meetings being held with the cities vying to be hosts.

Also present at this meeting was Elvira Andrés, the current Chief of Staff of the RFEF; along with María Tato, a member of the organizing committee for the 2030 World Cup; and Manuel Torralba representing the Aragonese Football Federation.
