At around four o'clock in the afternoon (Spanish peninsular time), the Spanish national team's plane took off from Madrid to Cyprus, where the travelling party is scheduled to arrive at 21:25 (local time).

With a couple of training sessions behind them, their first with the public in attendance, and a second session behind closed doors this morning at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, Luis de la Fuente's men have set off for Limassol, where they will play their penultimate qualifier for Euro 2024, with Spain facing Cyprus at the Alphamega Stadium on Thursday 14 November.

Iñigo Martínez also spoke to the media this afternoon at the federation's headquarters, where he stressed that for him "it is always an honour to be called up for the national team".
