"The Sweden match was great, and now we are focused on tomorrow's match."

Following the coach, Montse Tomé, players from the Spanish National Team, Aitana Bonmatí and Mariona Caldentey, addressed the media ahead of the second match in the group stage against Switzerland.

Both players agreed that, after a challenging start to training camp, the atmosphere in the past few days, coupled with the victory against Sweden, has become calmer, allowing both the players and the staff to focus on football.

Aitana Bonmatí spoke about the team's high level of competitiveness: "We have a deep squad to be able to face all kinds of matches. It was evident in the World Cup and it was evident on Friday against Sweden."

Furthermore, the Catalan player emphasized the importance of the first match in the group stage: "The match against Sweden was great, and now we are focused on tomorrow's match against Switzerland."

Mariona Caldentey referred to their role as footballers: "Our thing is playing football, but we have a voice and a responsibility. It's a global struggle, and we all feel it's a bit ours."

Aitana continued to address the need for "normalcy": "We have committed to making all of this better, to leave a good legacy and good conditions for all the generations that come after us."

Finally, Mariona expressed her gratitude to the city of Córdoba and its people: "Since we arrived, we've seen that there are a lot of people paying attention to us at all times. It's overwhelming. We are incredibly grateful for the support from the people who show us their affection." The player from the Balearic Islands took the opportunity to invite all the fans to the Nuevo Arcángel stadium tomorrow: "The message is clear, come and support us because we will try to give back all that support and affection by making it a good night of football, winning, playing well, and ensuring that everyone can have a good time."
