The achievement of the Spanish Women's National Team, defeating the Netherlands and securing a spot in the World Cup semifinals, has resonated throughout the national and international scene.

On social media, displays of support and congratulations have been flooding in.

The Royal House has congratulated the Spanish team for their triumph and wished them "good luck" for the semifinal match.

One of the athletes who has been most active during the match is Carlos Alcaraz. The Murcian, who is competing in the Canada Masters 1000, celebrated Salma Paralluelo's goal on social media that secured the semifinal spot and congratulated the players after the final whistle, leaving a clear message for the next round: "LET'S GO FOR MORE!"

He hasn't been the only athlete to celebrate this victory of the Spanish women. Former international Marta Corredera, who is covering the World Cup with RTVE, expressed her joy with recognition for this generation of footballers, "how much it has taken to get here, how many hours of silent work and sacrifice from so many people." Ana Crnogorcevic, a player for FC Barcelona and the Swiss national team, also wanted to acknowledge the Spanish team.

The Higher Sports Council has been one of the earliest to congratulate the Spanish women and has encouraged everyone to continue "dreaming alongside this fantastic team." The Spanish Olympic Committee also hasn't missed the chance to congratulate our international players.
