This is how the first round of the Copa will be
The draw defining the pairings for the beginning of the most prestigious tournament in Spanish football took place at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas
On Tuesday, 110 teams were seeking their dance partners for the first round of the Copa del Rey. The draw for this stage of the tournament was held at the Luis Aragonés auditorium in the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas. It was a spectacular event that resulted in matchups aiming for equal opportunities for all participants, fostering excitement and surprises.
The round will take place between October 31st, November 1st, and 2nd, with single-leg matches, and the lower-tier team will always act as the home team.
Seven categories were used for the draw: La Liga, Second Division, First Federación, Second Federación, Third Federación, Copa Federación semifinalists (who were clear they would play against a "La Liga" team), and participants from regional categories (who would also face a top-tier team).
