This is how the draw went

As has become the norm, the draw was followed live by clubs keen to find out what the magic of the cup has in store for them, teams such as: Astorga, Vilanueva de la Serena and Santamaría de Cayón (Cantabria), home to three of the biggest underdogs in the draw was where the action was most closely followed. The Third division will have three representatives playing at home against three first division teams: Atlético Astorga, Atzeneta and Arosa.

Matches like these are a cause for celebration, as CF Villanovense explained before discovering their opponents.

Those drawing the teams also had to be numerous in number due to the amount of pots being used, five in total. And, among them, were some Cup debutants and also Cup legends. As such, Ivi Vales, Atlético Astorga FC player, or Adrià Mesa, from UD Barbastro, shared the stage with Diego Capel, Cup champion in 2007 and 2010; and with Donato, 4 times champion of the tournament.

Among those conducting the draw was football veteran, Xabier Etxeita, of SD Amorebieta and former Athletic Club player.

The 5 drawing the teams, as you can see, made for a luxury line-up and for a luxury draw
