UEFA Women's Nations League final four squad list to be announced on Thursday 15 February
The Spanish national team kicks off 2024 with a double-header challenge of the highest order of importance all rolled into one. Firstly, to qualify for this summer's Olympic Games in Paris by winning their semi-final and, secondly, to try to win the first ever edition of the UEFA Women's Nations League. In order to try and achieve this, Montse Tomé will announce the squad list next Thursday, 15 February, at 11:30 (Spanish peninsular time) across the Spanish national team’s official social media channels and on the website (rfef.es). One hour later, at 12:30, the national coach will address the media from the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, a press conference that can be followed live, as always, on our official channels.
Spain will face the Netherlands in the semi-finals of the Nations League, a match that will be played at La Cartuja in Seville on 23 February following a change in stadium for the fixture. It will also be a crucial match in terms of their route to the Olympics, as a win would secure their place at the 2024 Olympic Games.
After this semi-final match, the world champions will battle on in either the final of this new competition or for third place. The other semi-final is between France and Germany, which will determine our opponents for 28 February at La Cartuja in Seville.
In a week's time we will find out which internationals will form part of a squad that once again has the chance to make history.
