United by the National Team in Friendship and Love

It happened on a day just like this Thursday, 5th September 2015, after a Spain-Slovakia match held at the Carlos Tartiere stadium in Oviedo.  

Pelayo, a fan of Real Sporting de Gijón and the national team, had just attended the Spain-Slovakia match in the Asturian capital when he ran into Alba, whom he met "wearing the red National Team colours." That day, love blossomed, and they have now been together for nine years, with the ticket from that match framed in their home.

The national team and the matches between Sporting and Albacete later brought them together with Juan and José María from La Mancha, with whom they now share games and trips to matches following Spain.  

The four friends have enjoyed another very special event this Thursday, a meeting with Spanish internationals Ferran Torres, Martín Zubimendi, and Álex Remiro just hours before the National Team’s match against the Balkan side at the Rajko Mitić Stadium.

"The National Team has always been the common ground to meet with fans from other teams, and we’re very happy to meet the players and visit other countries with the team," says Pelayo Álvarez, who, along with his friends and girlfriend Alba, is celebrating an unforgettable ninth anniversary of their relationship in Belgrade.
