Vicky López comes of age in the happiest way
The young Barça player celebrated her 18th birthday today with a smile on her face and explained to her teammates that ‘the best present’ was the victory over Japan.

Vicky López is an example of many things, something that is especially relevant if we take into account that this Friday 26 July she turned 18 and has become an adult. The young Barça and Spanish national team player has, therefore, two reasons to smile, the celebration of this milestone birthday and the first three points for the women's national team in their historic debut in the Olympic tournament.
Such was her enjoyment that the young player told her teammates that the ‘best possible gift’ was given to them yesterday in the form of victory over Japan which brought three vital points on the road to the Olympic success at Paris 2024. It has been a special day for her and we experienced it very close to her.
