Guadalajara Awaits the National Team
The Spanish national team trained on Wednesday at Baylor School in a session that was partially open to the media. The players continue their preparations for their final Group H fixture, in which they will aim to secure top spot in the group once and for all.
Spain currently leads the standings with four points, two ahead of both Uruguay and Cape Verde, and three clear of Saudi Arabia, who sit at the bottom of the group.
The entire delegation is scheduled to travel this afternoon to Guadalajara, where Spain will face Uruguay on Friday, 26 June, at 6:00 p.m. local time (2:00 a.m. the following day in mainland Spain).
The squad is expected to depart from Chattanooga Airport at 6:30 p.m., arriving in Mexico approximately three hours later at 7:50 p.m. local time. Guadalajara operates two hours ahead of Chattanooga and eight hours behind mainland Spain.
With qualification for the knockout stages within reach, the team’s focus remains firmly on finishing the group campaign strongly and securing first place ahead of the next phase of the tournament.
