Just one day to go until the official kickoff of the Supercopa de España. The teams for the first semifinal are already in Jeddah, and the referees in charge have been announced. The stadium, dressed for the occasion, is ready to host three top-level matches that will decide Spain’s next super champion.

Alinma Stadium, located in the northern part of Jeddah within King Abdullah Sports City (named after the late Saudi monarch), will host the Supercopa for the third time, after being the venue in 2020 — won by Real Madrid CF — and in 2025, when FC Barcelona lifted the trophy.

Also known as Al-Jawhara (“The Jewel”), the stadium has a capacity of 60,000 spectators and opened in 2014. It hosts the home matches of Al-Ahli, Al-Ittihad, Jeddah Club, and the Saudi Arabian national team.

Jeddah is the country’s second-largest city after Riyadh, with nearly 3.5 million residents. It is located in the Makkah province, home to the world’s largest mosque.

FC Barcelona and Athletic Club will face off on Wednesday, January 7 at 8:00 p.m. CET in the first semifinal. On Thursday, at the same time, Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid will clash. The grand final is scheduled for Sunday, January 11 at 8:00 p.m. at Alinma Stadium.
