Determination leads Spain on the road to the World Cup

With the enthusiasm and ambition required for such an important challenge as qualification for the next World Cup, the 25 players called up by Luis de la Fuente gathered today, October 6, for the training camp ahead of the matches against Georgia and Bulgaria, scheduled for Saturday 11 in Elche and Tuesday 14 in Valladolid, respectively.

Spain currently leads Group E with six points.

The squad will remain in Las Rozas until Friday, when they will travel to Elche for the first match of this international window. Before that, the team will complete three training sessions on Pitch A, including an open session on Tuesday at 19:00 for media and supporters.

Following the game in Elche, the squad will return to Madrid before departing to Valladolid on Monday for the second encounter.

With new faces in the squad such as Pablo Barrios, Marcos Llorente, and Borja Iglesias, Spain will seek to strengthen their position and move closer to securing a place at the next World Cup, to be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada in June.
