The Campo A at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas once again hosted Spain’s training session on Thursday morning — the third of this October international break.

Head coach Luis de la Fuente oversaw an intense 75-minute session focused on fine-tuning every detail, both in and out of possession, in preparation for the crucial match against Georgia on Saturday in Elche, where Spain will fight to take another important step toward qualification for the next World Cup.

Having joined the squad on Wednesday night, Aymeric Laporte, defender for Athletic Club, was the main new face on the training pitch. The session began with a respectful minute of silence observed by players and staff in memory of the father of Alejandro Benito, physiotherapist for the national team.

Spain will train again tomorrow morning on the same pitch — with the first fifteen minutes open to the media — before departing for Elche at 18:00.
