Shortly after 11:15 a.m., the players took to the pitch at the Antonio Asensio Sports Complex. Under the guidance of head coach Sonia Bermúdez and her coaching staff, the squad completed their second training session as preparations intensify ahead of Matchdays 5 and 6 of the FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying campaign on the road to Brazil.

Following the warm welcome received from hundreds of supporters on Tuesday afternoon, the 25 internationals returned to work this morning, continuing to fine-tune both technical and tactical aspects of their game through a series of drills with and without the ball. Prior to taking to the field, the squad also completed gym-based work, combining two training sessions as part of their preparations for the upcoming clash against England.

The Lionesses await on Friday in what will be the penultimate fixture in Group A3 and a direct battle for top spot. It will mark the fifth meeting between the two sides in just over a year, following Spain's narrow defeat at Wembley on 14 April.

With three crucial points at stake in Son Moix, Spain will be aiming to reclaim first place in the group, overturn the head-to-head deficit and strengthen their bid for automatic qualification to the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup. With those objectives firmly in mind, concentration levels were high throughout the session, with every action executed at maximum intensity and every ball fiercely contested.

The team has now completed its second training session of the camp and will return to work at the same RCD Mallorca training facilities on Wednesday.

Tickets are still available. Come and support Spain as they take on the Lionesses.
