Rafael Louzán at the Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia: “Stability Generates Confidence”
The President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) addressed more than 200 representatives of Galicia’s industrial sector, outlining the key milestones achieved in the progression of Spanish football.
Rafael Louzán was the guest of honour at the forum regularly organized by the Círculo de Empresarios de Galicia in the city of Vigo.
He was welcomed by the institution’s president, María Borrás, its vice president, Josefina Fernández, as well as by members of the board of directors and representatives from nearly 200 companies across Galicia. Also in attendance were the President of the Galician Football Federation, Pablo Prieto, and various representatives of football clubs and sports organisations from across the region.
In his address to the Círculo de Empresarios, the RFEF President—who had previously signed the institution’s Book of Honour—highlighted the major achievements of Spanish football during the ten months of his presidency. He emphasized the importance of dialogue, collaboration, social harmony, consensus, and institutional loyalty in facing the major challenges of Spanish football.
“We are living in a time of dialogue and consensus, far removed from confrontation. The immediate outcome of this approach has been social harmony, which has opened the doors of the Federation to new partners, sponsors, companies, and institutions eager to be part of Spanish football. Stability generates confidence,” he stated.
The discussion also focused on the growth of official RFEF competitions, the strong economic performance of tournaments such as the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup, and Spain’s leadership role in the 2030 FIFA World Cup project—an endeavour shared with five other nations and regarded as a major national objective.
