With 2026 just around the corner, Sonia Bermúdez looks back on a truly memorable year for Spain:
“2025 has given us unforgettable moments. Our national team returned to the top of the FIFA rankings, reached the European Championship final, and just a few days ago lifted our second Nations League trophy.” All of that in just 365 days.

In only four months, the internationals delivered two finals for Spanish football and closed out the year by lifting the Nations League trophy in Madrid, in front of a sold-out Metropolitano stadium that surrendered to the talent of Bermúdez’s team.
“We did it in front of more than 55,000 fans, a historic record that represents your support, passion and commitment. Each of these achievements reflects the hard work, ambition and strength of this team — and also the boost you give us every step of the way.”

Surrounded by such special memories, it’s now time to turn the page, bring 2025 to a close on a high note, and prepare to welcome 2026 with the same excitement, determination and ambition: to keep fighting for titles.
