Spain's charter flight departed Dallas, Texas, at 6:15 p.m. local time, bound for Los Angeles. Rather than a new destination, the team is returning to familiar surroundings, having already played there during its convincing 3–0 victory over Austria in the Round of 16.

Back in California, where temperatures are more moderate despite the summer heat, Spain will continue its preparations for Friday's quarter-final against Belgium. The match will kick off on 10 July at 12:00 p.m. local time (9:00 p.m. CEST).

The team's aircraft landed in Los Angeles at 6:50 p.m. local time, two time zones behind Dallas. Earlier in the day, before departing Texas, the squad completed a recovery training session at the Cotton Bowl Stadium following Monday's 1–0 victory over Portugal.

Spain will resume training on Wednesday at the LA Galaxy training facilities, as Luis de la Fuente's side continues its preparations for a place in the World Cup semi-finals.
